Tonight’s Scottish Premiership match between Motherwell and Aberdeen has been postponed.
The decision comes after the announcement earlier today by the SFA and SPFL, that all Scottish football will be suspended until further notice due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
Our match is an early casualty following the announcement, as we were preparing to battle for third spot in the Scottish Premiership.
Up until mid-morning it was expected that all Scottish fixtures would take place this weekend ahead of the imposed ban on gatherings of 500 people or more announced by the Scottish Government yesterday.
We’re now in a wait and see, but given that the UK is slightly behind Europe in terms of peak of the virus outbreak, it is likely that this suspension will continue further into April.
