Michael Devlin has secured a short term extension to his Dons deal to prove his fitness to Stephen Glass.
Aberdeen have offered the contract until January 2022 with an option to extend the deal for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.
Mikey is now back to full fitness after returning from an ankle ligament injury which has kept out of action so far this year.
He suffered the ankle injury in early December, and only made two appearances last season – off the bench in the double header against St Mirren.
He’ll be hoping to put his injury nightmare behind him after also suffering a hamstring injury in pre-season last year against Ross County.
