Former Dons manager, Derek McInnes didn’t take long in signing up ex Dons defender, Ash Taylor after the player left Walsall.
Taylor has signed an 18 month contract with Kilmarnock.
Ash is well known to Scottish football and McInnes in particular, having been signed twice for Aberdeen by the manager and making 178 appearances for the Pittodrie side over two spells in the north east.
The player, commenting on his move, said: “I’m really excited to join as I know what a great club Kilmarnock is having played against them in the past and I can’t wait to get going,” he told the club’s website.
“Everything about Killie is exciting at the moment, especially the challenge to gain promotion back to the Premiership by winning the league.
“The manager was naturally a huge factor in me coming here. I’ve had two spells playing under him so when I got the call it was an easy decision to make.”
