Information For Supporters – Hibernian v Aberdeen

The Hibernian v Hibs match on Wednesday 22 December will kick-off at 7.45pm.

Supporters should be aware that all tickets for this match need to be purchased in advance of Wednesday’s game.  There will be no tickets for sale in Edinburgh.

From this evening, all tickets must be collected from Pittodrie, there will be no collections available at Easter Road.

Aberdeen supporters will be accommodated in the South Stand.

Private vehicle parking is best done to the west of Easter Road and outside the TTRO (Temporary Traffic Restriction Order) area which is enforced on match day. Be warned, Edinburgh is not a great place for parking.

Supporter’s buses can park on Regent Road. This area is affected by pay and display for the early part of the duration.

Please arrive at the stadium as early as possible and bear in mind that Temporary Traffic Restrictions are in place which affects vehicular access near the stadium.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Please check the internet for ongoing roadworks in Edinburgh. Some may affect your travel plans dependant on your intended route. Avoid the city centre unless you are actually staying there or taking the train.

Local Bus Service – The Lothian Region Transport buses depart Princes Street every few minutes and stops in London Road at Easter Road, which is only a few minutes’ walk to the Stadium. Route maps are located at most bus stops.

AT THE STADIUM

With the festive period in mind and in line with all of our away games, please do not attempt to enter the stadium whilst drunk. This could result in a refusal or arrest. Don’t ruin your festive period. Expect to be searched prior to entry.

ALL SUPPORTERS MAY BE ASKED TO PRODUCE EITHER AN AUTHENTIC COVID VACCINATION PASS ON THEIR MOBILE DEVICE (OR PAPER FORMAT) OR AN OFFICIAL NHS EMAIL OR TEXT CONFIRMING A NEGATIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST CARRIED OUT ON MATCHDAY.

Aberdeen supporters will enter the South Stand via turnstiles 5, 6, 7 and 8. Turnstiles will open at 6.45pm. Tickets are for allocated seating. There are no cash turnstiles and no ticket sales at the stadium on the day.

BAGS – Essentially, bags are not permitted unless they are absolutely necessary. If a bag is required, please ensure that it is no larger than 30cm x 30cm, and preferably transparent. If there is a requirement to search a bag, the owner will be asked to empty it and re-pack it once checked.

SMOKING – There is no smoking permitted in the stadium.

KIOSKS are contactless.

Please have regard to public safety and the continued COVID protocols, which all players and match officials abide by, and refrain from encroaching onto the track side or playing surface unless instructed to do so in an emergency.

Both Clubs operate a zero‐tolerance policy towards racism, sectarianism and any forms of inequality.

UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT:- As at all fixtures, unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated. Any individuals attending the match who are found to have engaged in unacceptable conduct may have disciplinary action taken against them. This may include removal of ticketing privileges for games, removal of season tickets and bans from stadiums for a specified period/or other appropriate sanctions. Unacceptable Conduct may also lead to criminal charges. Reference should be made to the SPFL Rules regarding Unacceptable Conduct.
