Aberdeen Football Club have confirmed the signing of Greg Stewart from Birmingham City on a loan deal until the end of the season.
It’s his second spell in Scotland this season, after being with Kilmarnock during the first half of the season scoring eight goals in sixteen appearances.
The 28-year old was on loan to Aberdeen last season, helping the club to secure second spot in the Scottish Premiership.
Derek McInnes told the club website: “I’m delighted we’ve managed to secure the services of Greg until the end of the season.
“He’s a player we enjoyed working with before and he’s been in fantastic form recently and hopefully he can carry that on for Aberdeen.
“Greg had offers from elsewhere but he chose us, which says a lot about him and about Aberdeen Football Club, and I’m looking forward to him being a prominent player for us in the second half of the season.”
He’ll be available for selection subject to international clearance, for tomorrow’s Scottish Cup match against Stenhousemuir.
