Our first full capacity league match at Pittodrie since lockdown last year will be against Ross County on Sunday 29 August 2021.
The match will kick-off at 3pm.
In recognition of the support that the club have received already this season and to encourage as many supporters as possible along prices have been reduced for this match with adult tickets available from £18, U18 tickets available from £8 and U12 tickets priced from £4.
After seeing the Red Shed in full flow for our match with Breidablik we are looking forward to another sell out for this game with adult tickets for the section priced at £18, Youth 18-21’s £15 and U18s £12. Demand is anticipated to be high so move quickly to avoid missing out and don’t forget that the best way to secure your place for all matches is as a season ticket member!
Tickets for the match went on sale on Saturday 21 August 2021 and you can order online at afc.co.uk/eTickets, in person from the Pittodrie Ticket Office and over the phone by calling 01224 63 1903.
NFC Mobile Season Tickets
For this match the default way for season ticket members to access the stadium will be using an NFC mobile season ticket.
Season ticket members who requested a season card when purchasing their season ticket should use this to access the stadium on matchday. If you requested a season card and have not received it please e-mail [email protected]
Season ticket members in Blocks C & D of the Main Stand will be relocated for this fixture and will receive paper tickets in the post for this match next week.
Non-Season Ticket Members
For this match non-season ticket members will have the opportunity to use NFC mobile ticketing to enter the stadium or can also choose a paper ticket.
Free tickets for 500 AberDNA Junior Members
This will also be the first fixture where AberDNA Junior members can claim one of their two free tickets which they will be entitled to use throughout the 21/22 season. Initially 500 free tickets for gold and silver price zones will be available for this match on a first come first served basis and all members must be accompanied by an adult.
Launched back in March 2020, AberDNA Junior is a free membership for U12s which provides youngsters with two free match tickets along with the opportunity to ‘Sign for the Dons’ in a special ceremony at Pittodrie. Details on how to claim your free AberDNA Junior tickets can be found below and if you are yet to sign-up you can do so here!
More details on the Sign for the Dons experience will be announced soon as we plan to start welcoming members to Pittodrie for the unique experience from the September school holiday.

New season ticket package
A brand-new season ticket package is also in place for our remaining 18 matches and will start from the Ross County fixture. The new package offers fantastic value, particularly for U18s and has been discounted to account for one game being missed. Full information on season tickets can be found here.
Unfortunately, due to current protocols set out by the Joint Response Group a red zone will remain in operation. In practice this means that Blocks C & D of the Main Stand will remain closed. Supporters in these sections have been contacted via e-mail to inform of alternative arrangements for this match.
To help relocate season ticket members with seats in these areas we will be unable to accommodate any away supporters as we look to offer comparable seats for season ticket members who will be displaced for this match.
As with the Breidablik & Qarabag matches there will no longer be a requirement to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow test before gaining entry to the stadium.
However, there will be staggered arrival times to control access to the stadium and safe movement when inside the ground. Supporters will also have to agree to the updated COVID-19 supporters code of conduct which can be found below.
Face masks must be worn in all indoor areas of the stadium and whilst there is no requirement for lateral flow tests to be carried out, we would encourage their use along with continued use of the Protect Scotland app and cashless payments in the club shop and at our kiosks where possible.
Earlier this year our Women’s side made it back-to-back promotions under the management of Emma Hunter securing promotion to the top flight. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time the Red Army were unable to share in that success so we are pleased to be able to share that our SWPL2 champions will be joining us for this fixture with a trophy parade taking place at half-time. Please be sure to show your appreciation for the Dons as they get set for the SWPL1 league opener with Celtic on Sunday 5th September.
Young supporters attending the match will have the opportunity to claim a giveaway from the club on matchday to help build the atmosphere and serve as a souvenir from the homecoming match and the reds will also receive a warm reception to the pitch, with your vocal support from the stands set to be backed up by a return of the pre-match flames at the Merkland end of the stadium.
Following the pre-season renovations in the Red Shed we are also looking forward to unveiling some more artwork recognising our history ahead of this fixture. Look out for more information on activity being announced in the days leading up to the match!
