Aberdeen Must Win At Pittodrie
- Updated: July 24, 2009
FORMER player Jim Bett filed a special report on Aberdeen FC’s Europa League opponents Sigma Olomouc after they beat Fram Reykjavik.
Aberdeen FC have a wonderful chance of getting through against Sigma – but only if they build up a lead at Pittodrie.
Sigma are not an outstanding team, they are certainly not in the class of Dnipro or FC Copenhagen, who Aberdeen FC disposed of during their great UEFA Cup run a couple of years ago.
But, like most Czech sides, they are athletic, well organised and capable of winning the tie if Aberdeen FC aren’t careful.
