Hearts have issued a “final warning” to Christian Nade over the striker’s recent indiscipline.
Nade, 25, clashed with midfielder Ian Black in the dressing room after the 2-0 defeat by Celtic last month.
“He committed a breach of discipline and he is on his final warning,” Hearts manager Jim Jefferies told the club’s official website.
“He has been warned about his behaviour but as far as we are concerned that is the end of the matter.”
The Frenchman, who is out of contract in May, has struggled for form this season at Tynecastle.
Jefferies added: “It is now up to the player himself along with a few others at the club (to prove) that they will be part of the long-term plans.”
