An achilles injury means Jim Paterson will miss out for Aberdeen.

Jamie Langfield is expected to return in goal for the Dons but midfielder Peter Pawlett and defender Andrew Considine remain out.

Hearts keeper Marian Kello has suffered a minor wrist fracture and his place in goal will be taken by Janos Balogh.

Michael Stewart returns from a ban and Ismael Bouzid and Gary Glen are in contention after injury but Suso Santana is an injury doubt.
