ABERDEEN FC boss Mark McGhee today challenged his players to convince him they are still worth keeping.
McGhee expects his scathing criticism of the Aberdeen FC squad in the wake of their Scottish Cup defeat by Raith Rovers to spark a reaction.
He has responded by giving the players an open invitation to come into his office, look him straight in the eye, and state their case, but admitted it may already be too late for some of them.
McGhee said: “I stand by every word I’ve spoken since the Raith defeat.
“I can look everyone in the eye and say I did my best to win the game and I’m doing my best to improve Aberdeen’s situation.”
