Forwards Peter Pawlett and Sone Aluko return to the Aberdeen squad but may have to settle for places on the bench.
Defender Andrew Considine (hip) is the only definite absentee for the Dons.
Suspended Raith striker Gregory Tade is available for the Scottish Cup fifth-round visit of Aberdeen as his ban only applies to league matches.
Captain Iain Davidson is out because of a broken foot but on-loan Dundee United strikers Jonny Russell and Kevin Smith are both clear to play.
Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn:
“This is probably Aberdeen’s last chance to win a trophy and their last two results could make them even more dangerous opponents.
“They did really well against Hearts but then again they may be less confident after their last two games.”
Aberdeen defender Jim Paterson:
“I have played in enough Scottish Cup ties against lower league opposition to know that if you are going to their ground it is a potential banana skin.
“We know what we are up against on Saturday and we know we will have to treat it like an SPL match.
“If we beat Raith we will be in the quarter-final so we need to go down there with the right attitude. I do enjoy the Scottish Cups, like any cup competition.
“I got to the final of the CIS Cup with Motherwell and that was the so-called smaller cup, but for Motherwell it was an unbelievable day so to get a cup run is good for any team.”
