Dons Sign Paterson On Loan

ABERDEEN FC have tonight (Monday) completed the double capture of Plymouth Argyle pair Steve MacLean and Jim Paterson. Both players have signed on loan at Pittodrie until the end of the season.

Striker, MacLean, joined Argyle in 2008 after a spell at Cardiff City. Having started his career at Rangers, he also enjoyed spells at Scunthorpe United and Sheffield Wednesday.

Paterson, who can operate at left back or left midfield, played over 100 games for Dundee United and Motherwell before moving south in 2008.

Both players go straight in to the squad for tomorrow night’s Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League game with Falkirk at Pittodrie.
