St Johnstone have suffered a blow with news that top scorer Collin Samuel will be out for up to six weeks following exploratory knee surgery on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old suffered the injury during the Perth club’s league defeat by Kilmarnock a week and a half ago.
The Trinidad and Tobago striker has scored six times for the Scottish Premier League new boys this season.
Samuel joined Saints from Major League Soccer side Toronto FC following spells with Dundee United and Falkirk.
